[CF Devotionals] 2020-05-25 - The 5Ws of Jesus

- - - - - - -

The 5Ws is common in the world of journalism. They are well proven questions to get a complete story on a subject. (Who, What, When, Where, and Why) These questions can also describe our Savior Jesus.

Who is this Jesus?
Jesus is a mediator and intercessor for us. (1 Timothy 2:5 and Hebrews 7:25)
Jesus is merciful and faithful, and understands me. (Hebrews 2:17 and 4:15)

What happens when we accept Jesus?
God forgives us and doesn't remember our sins. (Hebrews 8:12)

When are we vindicated?
We are justified when we rely on the just Jesus. (Romans 3:26b)

Where do our sins go?
They are erased, blotted out. (Acts 3:19)

Why did God send Jesus to Earth, in the first place?
To demonstrate His righteousness, and for us to be restored. (Acts 3:19, Romans 3:26)

Thank You, Lord, for loving me unconditionally. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
