2019-10-30 - Mercy:Verses and Lyrics

There are times that thinking about God’s mercy is all that keeps me going. Knowing that he only has good in mind for me - and that no matter what is going on, He is there for me - is comforting. The chorus of this song by Phillips, Craig and Dean always grabs me in just about any situation I am facing.

Mercy came running
Like a prisoner set free
Past all my failures
To the point of my need
When the sin that I carried
Was all I could see
And when I could not reach mercy
Mercy came running to me

Today I am focusing on his mercy with a few verses and hope they lift your spirits and add beauty and joy to your day. 😉

Keep Yourselves in the Love of God (The Book of Jude, Verses 17-24 NASB)

“But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.
