[CF Devotionals] 2018-10-13 - Living Today

James 4:13-14 (NIV)--Now listen you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

A major hurricane hit the southern United States this week. Millions of people have been affected. Hundreds of thousands lost electrical power. Thousands lost their homes. Dozens lost their lives. Their lives changed in an instant.

James tells us that we don't know what will happen from one day to the next. We need to make the most of the time that we have on this earth. You don't know when your time to leave it will come. Tell those that you love that you love them. Make the most of each day. Live today, as if it were your last day.
