Paul frequently wrote about the subject of prayer. He told us that we should
"devote ourselves to prayer." We should put forth
in effort to spend time in prayer. Prayer should be a serious time, when
we express our thoughts to God. Then, Paul told us to "pray
continually." We are not to stop our conversation with our Father
in Heaven. We should feel so comfortable that we don't want to cease the
exchange of words. And finally, Paul instructed us to pray
"with all kinds of prayers and requests." Nothing
is too trivial to discuss with our Maker. No request is too small. We don't
have to wait for a crisis, to talk to God. When is the best time to pray?
Any time and any place. Have you spent time in prayer today?
