of integrity in his community. Noah walked with God.
Those are some pretty incredible words about these two men.
Enoch walked steadily with God. I know personally my walk could be a lot
steadier and consistent with God. I get too busy to pray and too busy to
read my Bible. It's silly how I can be to busy in my life to spend time with
the one who makes life possible.
The world was evil. But Noah was different. The world we live in is a dark
place. We need to be different. I need to be different. We are to be lights
piercing through the darkness.
God liked what he saw in Noah. None of us are perfect but when God looked
at Noah he was pleased. I need to live my life in a way that pleases him.
I fail to do that at times.
Lastly, Noah was a good man, a man of integrity. He was the same no matter
who he was around. Like Enoch, Noah walked with God.
I can't say my life is always different from the lives of those around me.
I can't say that God would be pleased with my life all the time, in fact
almost never I'd say. It's because I don't walk steadily with God like Enoch
and Noah did. What about you? How is your walk? Is your life different? Is
God pleased with your life? Do you walk with God? Get down on your knees
right now and walk with him. Whether you are starting your day or wrapping
it up take the time to walk with God.
