1 Samuel 1-2:1-11, 18-21

Then Hannah prayed: “My heart rejoices in the Lord! The Lord has made me strong. Now I have an answer for my enemies; I rejoice because you rescued me. No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. (1 Samuel 2:1-2 NLT)

There is such joy in our house. It's nice to be part of a big family. My parents Elkanah and Hannah have six kids, I being one of them.

My mom loves being a mother, and my oldest brother Samuel is pursuing his destiny, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do or be. I've asked the Lord but He hasn't told me, yet.

I'm not in a rush to leave home quite yet. Perhaps I will change my mind, when I'm older. We'll see. For right now, I'm going to try to enjoy the waiting, the not knowing. My mother had the same struggle. She tells me how important patience is, and how difficult being patient can be. Mom had a hard time waiting for Dad and her to become parents. Prayer got her through, and made her desire possible.

Lord, May I enjoy the present moment, and not get stressed trying to figure it all out. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
