2015-11-10 - Gobbledygook
I think the gobblydegook experiences provide a valuable lesson for us. Sometimes we can look at someone's problem, and we think we understand and know what's best - but it's likely that we don't know everything. We may not see things the same way as they do, but it's not our place to play God. It's our place to pray, listen - and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit - to see if there's anything that we can do to help.
Thankfully, God also looks at things differently than we do.
Isaiah 55:8 (MSG) “I don’t think the way you think.
Otherwise, many of our own situations would just be gobbledygook, in which we can get mired down and start feeling hopeless. Instead, they are malleable in His wise and loving hands. He can turn them into teachable situations, and even blessings. The next time a situation in your life seems like gobbledygook, pray and ask God to translate it into something usable.
