2015-10-12 - What Would a Follower Say?
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Psalm 23:1 KJV)
Because the Lord is in my life, I have all I need. When I crave time to rest, God shows me a quiet place. He gives me strength to recharge my mind and muscles. God is the leader; I’m the follower.
As His child, it is refreshing to bask in His presence. I don’t have to prove anything, or be what I am expected to be. God is guiding me, how can I fail? His way is foolproof. He provides me with blessings. God’s love and care are genuine. This kindness and goodness of God’s love never stops
Lord, Over the years, I have made my share of mistakes - a quality of being human. A few of these mistakes were in the way I neglected You as my heavenly Father. I treated You as a heavenly being, creator of the world, but failed to treat You as my personal creator and Savior. Thank You for Psalm 23, which reminds me that I am not alone, that You are my guardian, and I can trust You. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
