Psalm 32

Such freedom, now that I've confessed my sin to God. I'm a forgiven and blessed man. Before I confessed I carried such a heavy burden. My energy and strength, zapped. Now I am no longer guilty. May everyone pray to God while they can.

God welcomes us to hide out with Him. You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. (Psalm 32:7-9) He is not judgmental, and when we choose God, there are no side effects or consequences as there are with other hideaways. The Lord is safe. He is the source of wisdom and peace that we are desperately seeking.

He's our counselor. When we have to make a decision, He's a reliable guide. Don't be stubborn. You have to make the first move. There is nothing to be afraid of-God's waiting for you. The Lord does not have an ulterior motive, other than spending time with you. People disappoint us, but God can be trusted.

We have a reason to rejoice and be glad, when we depend upon the Lord!

Lord, Shake off the wrong things, and forgive and cleanse my sins. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
