[CF Devotionals] 2015-06-24 - Mercy and Blessings

- - - - - - -

My Father in Heaven overwhelms me with his mercy and blessings. Renewal is possible, always in his timing, always perfect, and always amazing. I am so proud to be a child of God. He has shown me the healing heart of someone very important to me, and He used me, in part, to accomplish it. Nothing about being on this Earth is more important than those moments we are part of God’s love, wrapping around someone and bringing them to realizations. Whether it happens in a little while, or over a period of years, His glory is still shown.

As we celebrated Father’s Day weekend, I want to think about my heavenly Father, who created me, as well as those others on Earth that have been instruments of His love to me. I would also like to think about how we can, in turn, glorify God by being instruments to others on their earthly journey. What a blessing we can be to God every day, just as He is to us so unselfishly. Happy Father’s Day to all who are fathers, stepfathers, Uncles and Grandfathers raising kids as their own, adoptive fathers, fathers of pets, foster fathers of kids, mentors, etc. To God be the glory!!
