Reflection

During Lent, which begins in two days, many Christians reflect on what God
has done for us, as well as on the content of our hearts and lives, the teachings
we have heard, decisions, actions, sins we may be harboring - and more. Today
we will read passages related to reflection, meditation, pondering, considering,
etc.
Psalm 77:12 I will meditate on all your works and consider
all your mighty deeds.
Psalm 1:1-2
How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel
of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
2 Timothy 2:7 (Paul said) Consider what I say, for the
Lord will give you understanding in everything.
Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how to stimulate
one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together,
as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as
you see the day drawing near.
Philippians 4:7-8 And the peace of God, which surpasses
all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there
is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these
things.
