Open The Door, Part 6

And finally we come to the last point.

Turn with me to Revelations, Chapter 3.

  1. Sin - All have Sinned
  2. Wages - The Wages of Sin is Death
  3. Born Again - Made A-new
  4. The Way
  5. Confess and Believe
  6. Jesus Died

  7. Open the Door

Read with me verses 20-22 of Revelation, Chapter 3

Revelation 3:20-22 "Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and have dinner with him, and he with Me. 21 The Victor: I will give him the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I also won the victory and sat down with my Father on His throne. 22 Anyone who has an ear should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches." (NIV)

My friend, Jesus is knocking at the door to your heart wanting to come in. He wants to be Lord of your life, and impute His righteousness to you, that you will be with Him in heaven.

Do you see that you are a sinner in need of repentance? Do you need to answer the door and give your life to Jesus, by admitting that you are a sinner, and you canÿt save yourself, and that you need forgiveness of your sin? Do you need to ask Jesus to come into your heart and change your mind about how you will be saved, that itÿs not by your work, but by the work of the Lord God Almighty?

Can you say with dignity, honesty, and assurance what the author of Romans said in Romans chapter 1:16? ´For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation, given to all who believe, given first to the Jews and then to the Gentiles.

God loves you, my friend, and He did a great work for you because you are in need. Itÿs a free gift, my friend. Are you willing to accept it?

If you are ready to answer Jesus today and open the door, change your mind about how you are going to be saved, by no longer trusting in yourself. If, instead, you choose to believe in and turn to the way Jesus Christ as the sole source of your salvation, and you want a personal intimate relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord, then pray this prayer with me:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive me of my sin, and for trusting in my own way. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and dine with me. Save me, change me and make me a-new and for your name and your glory. I love you Lord. Help me to see you wherever you lead me, in Jesus name, Amen.

If you prayed that prayer today, you need to make it public, because God and the Angels in Heaven are rejoicing, and you need to rejoice with them and let us rejoice with you.
