Day 6 Cover Story
Have you ever wondered what people were thinking during the last days of
Jesus' life on Earth? Here is an account from Mark who caught a first-hand
glimpse of what happened to Jesus.
So the colt was brought to Jesus and the disciples threw
their coats across its back for Him to ride on. Then many in the crowd spread
out their coats along the road before him, while others threw down leafy
branches from the fields. He was in the center of the procession with crowds
ahead and behind, and all of them shouting, "Hail to the King!" "Praise God
for him who comes in the name of the Lord!" Mark 11:7-10 (TLB)
It was great to see people finally showing appreciation for Jesus. Not that
Jesus craved the attention, He was too much a humble man to have an inflated
ego. I was glad people realized that Jesus wasn't just an ordinary man.
God, I praise Your name, most gracious King. You are
the One true God. I thank You that I am never far from Your sight. How awesome
to think that I matter to You. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
