1997-06-29 - Praise
Hi everyone! Hope you are having a good weekend. : ) We are to praise God often; even when we suffer (and I myself have none to comparably speak of), it can bring praise to Him! I know that I myself I need to praise God more often!
Psa 7:17 (NRSV) I will give to the LORD the thanks due to His righteousness, and sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Most High.Psa 22:22 (NRSV) I will tell of Your name to my brothers and sisters; in the midst of the congregation I will praise You.
Psa 34:1 (NRSV) I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Psa 43:5 (NRSV) Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him, My Help and My God.
Psa 150:2 (NRSV) Praise Him for his mighty deeds; praise Him according to His surpassing greatness!
Rom 14:10-11 (NRSV) Why do you pass judgment on your brother or sister? Or you, why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. 11 For it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall give praise to God."
