A Little Bit about Tim
| I had every advantage that a child could ask for: godly parents. I really
began to follow my Christian heritage and faith when I became involved in
the college fellowship group Campus Crusade for Christ while attending Arizona
State University. Through discipleship, growth in my understanding of the
Bible and a Christian walk with Christ I began to long for a deeper
understanding of Gods truth.
This desire for an understanding of Gods Word led to attending Westminster Theological Seminary after graduation from college. I there received my Master's in Theological Studies. Since that time I have continued to attend Westminster as a Ph. D. student in the field of Historical Theology. My love for the study of theology has resulted in an addiction of which I may never recover. I collect books, and find that I spend about 20 hours each week searching for the best deals and the rarest possible finds. As a result I have thousands of books and very little room to move about in my small apartment. But praise the Lord, as far as addictions go, things could be worse. To support my schooling and my book habit, I work full time in the field of private personal security. This occupation has been a nice diversion from the rigors of academic life and has provided an enjoyable balance in my life. My hobbies, besides reading, vary from going for a walk when I need some peace and quiet, to driving my motorcycle to a shooting range when I want blow off some steam.
