Can I use the devotionals and materials here for my own personal, Sunday School class, or academic use?
Yes. While the devotionals are not copyrighted in any way, we do ask that if you do use material from this site that you credit the source, be careful to make the quote accurate and not take the points out of context. Sandi is working on having her material published, so please contact her directly if you wish to user her materials. Once her work is published, it will be copyrighted. Use will have to be by permission only for her devotionals after that time.
We hope that readers will take these pages and pass them on to friends who are in need of whatever that page has to offer. Print them out and stack them up at the door of the church, if that is acceptable. Anything that is done to extend the reach of this ministry includes you in the blessing and takes us to places we would not normally touch.
Isa 52:7 How lovely on the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation, and says to Zion, "Your God reigns!" (NAS)
Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings of good things!" (NAS)
If I subscribe to the mailing list, will my address be given away?
Never. This is a private mailing list. We will not sell, or distribute in any way the mailing list addresses. We value our personal privacy and will do everything we can to safeguard your privacy from being disturbed in any way from your relationship with the CF Devotionals site.
What can I expect when I subscribe?
If you subscribed to a mailbox other than the one the mail was sent from, there will be a confirmation letter. Otherwise, you can expect a welcome letter. After that a devotional will be delivered once a day to your email mailbox. We shoot for the mornings and do pretty well at accomplishing that goal. Now and again we will be delayed until afternoon. We rarely go past that. Again we stress that the mailing list is private.
What is the Prayer Warriors prayer list all about?
At the time of your subscribe you can expect a welcome note from one of the CF Devotionals staff. The note will also ask if you want to be included on our private Prayer Warriors mailing list. This will contain only requests that come from the devotionals subscribers and will not be published in any other form or outside the group. There is also no need to feel pressured into signing up. We understand busy schedules and filled mailboxes. This does not preclude you from submitting a prayer request. If you are a Prayer Warrior and feel led to join, we will gladly welcome you.
Is there a way to get a prayer request to a larger audience?
There will be one again soon. One of our authors is in the process of completely rebuilding his prayer ministry website. We are excited about the revival of this important facet of Christian life. Reaching out and helping people in need and providing a place of ministry for Christians who have the call to pray is something we want to do. Once the dust settles, we will provide the address and links to the pages. Please keep this matter in prayer as well.
Can I submit something to be presented at the CF Devotionals website?
This was a tough decision. We currently do not accept submissions for the site from outside our authors. Yes, there are people out there who have tremendous and deeply insightful things to contribute. We do have a Biblical standard to uphold. We decided it would only be fair to decline all submissions rather than to have to decline some over details that some might feel are trivial. Rather than generate bad feelings, we limit our postings to the authors of the group.
Does the CF website accept requests for links to other sites?
Yes, we do. But we do reserve the right to decline to request. We try very hard to remain focused on Biblical and devotional materials. We have had several requests for links to commercial sites, worthy causes or personal pages that we have had to turn down. We feel the focus is important and want to keep the site free of things that would detract from quiet time and study of God's Word. We also decline sites with banner exchange links. The links are often commercial in nature even in the case of a christian exchange.
Does the CF website accept links from other sites?
Sure thing. We have members of the staff actively hunt for sites that will link back to this site. Many members of the Christian community have been very gracious in setting up links to our site. We have been graced and blessed with several awards recently. We're thankful for the support and suggestions and humbled by the wonderful comments we've gotten over the last year and a half.
What if I have a question about something I read?
That's easy. Write us! We love to hear from you. At the bottom of each devotional page is an email link to the author. If there is something that doesn't seem right, confuses you or otherwise leaves you guessing; click on the link and ask away.
This page is a personal outreach of Webservants Ministries.
