God is the original Creator, of man, of animals, of everything that lives
or has ever lived on the Earth. He also is the Provider and Sustainer of
all He has created.
Col 1:16 (NLT) "Christ is the one through whom God created
everything in heaven and earth. He made the things we can see and the things
we can't see--kings, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities. Everything has been
created through him and for him."
Isa 40:22 (NLT) "It is God who sits above the circle of
the earth. The people below must seem to him like grasshoppers! He is the
one who spreads out the heavens like a curtain and makes his tent from
them."
Psa 104:16-22 (NLT) "The trees of the LORD are well cared
for-- the cedars of Lebanon that he planted. There the birds make their nests,
and the storks make their homes in the firs. High in the mountains are pastures
for the wild goats, and the rocks form a refuge for rock badgers. You made
the moon to mark the seasons and the sun that knows when to set. You send
the darkness, and it becomes night, when all the forest animals prowl about.
Then the young lions roar for their food, but they are dependent on God.
At dawn they slink back into their dens to rest."
Job 35:10-11 (NLT) "Yet they don't ask, 'Where is God
my Creator, the one who gives songs in the night? Where is the one who makes
us wiser than the animals and birds?'"
Isa 40:28 (NLT) "Have you never heard or understood? Don't
you know that the LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth?
He never grows faint or weary. No one can measure the depths of his
understanding."
Acts 4:24-26 (NLT) "Then all the believers were united
as they lifted their voices in prayer: "O Sovereign Lord, Creator of heaven
and earth, the sea, and everything in them, you spoke long ago by the Holy
Spirit through our ancestor King David, your servant, saying, 'Why did the
nations rage? Why did the people waste their time with futile plans? The
kings of the earth prepared for battle; the rulers gathered together against
the Lord and against his Messiah.'"
Rom 1:25 (NLT) "Instead of believing what they knew was
the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped
the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever.
Amen."
Col 1:15 (NLT) "Christ is the visible image of the invisible
God. He existed before God made anything at all and is supreme over all
creation."
