Devotional - 98-06-28 - Hope

Sometimes we feel there is no hope. But with God there is always hope. Remember, He has unlimited resources. He can see what we can't. With Him truly nothing is impossible. Let's look at a little of what the Word has to say about hope.

(Psa 31:24 NNAS) Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the LORD.

(Psa 33:18 NNAS) Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness

(Psa 38:15 NNAS) For I hope in You, O LORD; You will answer, O Lord my God."

(Psa 42:11 NNAS) Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

(Psa 71:5 NNAS) For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my confidence from my youth.

(1 Pet 1:13 NNAS) Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

(1 Pet 1:20-21 NNAS) For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you ²¹ who through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

(Titus 3:6-7 NNAS) whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷ so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

(1 Tim 6:17 NNAS) Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.

(Prov 23:18 NNAS) Surely there is a future, And your hope will not be cut off.
