Many of us have heard the Gospel message over and over. And yet, to know
something intellectually is not the same as to believe it and claim it for
our own future. Today we will see some of the verses in the Bible about the
salvation God.
(John 3:16 NNAS) For God so loved the world, that He gave
His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but
have eternal life.
(1 Th 5:9-10 NNAS) For God has not destined us for wrath,
but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10
who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together
with Him.
(Isa 12:2-4 NNAS) Behold, God is my salvation, I will
trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He
has become my salvation." 3 Therefore you will joyously draw water
From the springs of salvation. 4 And in that day you will say,
"Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the
peoples; Make them remember that His name is exalted.
(1 Pet 1:10-11 NNAS) As to this salvation, the prophets
who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches
and inquiries, 11 seeking to know what person or time the Spirit
of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ
and the glories to follow.
(Isa 51:5-6 NNAS) My righteousness is near, My salvation
has gone forth, And My arms will judge the peoples; The coastlands will wait
for Me, And for My arm they will wait expectantly. 6 Lift up your
eyes to the sky, Then look to the earth beneath; For the sky will vanish
like smoke, And the earth will wear out like a garment And its inhabitants
will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness
will not wane.
(Isa 9:6-7 NNAS) For a child will be born to us, a son
will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His
name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince
of Peace. 7 There will be no end to the increase of His government
or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it
and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this.
(Titus 2:11 NNAS) For the grace of God has appeared,
bringing salvation to all men
(Gal 4:4-5 NNAS) But when the fullness of the time came,
God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5
so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive
the adoption as sons.
(1 Pet 1:3-5 NNAS) Blessed be the God and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born
again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the
dead, 4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled
and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are
protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed
in the last time.
(2 Tim 3:14-15 NNAS) You, however, continue in the things
you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned
them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings
which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith
which is in Christ Jesus.
(Phil 2:12-13 NNAS) So then, my beloved, just as you
have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,
work out your salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is
God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good
pleasure.
(Heb 9:28 NNAS) So Christ also, having been offered once
to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without
reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.
