2019-03-18 - Brought to You by the Letter L
I was in elementary school when we had to do a yucky icebreaker. We had to describe ourselves by using a word that started with the same first letter as our first name. I had to come up with an adjective that began with an L. I was the second student to give my answer, so I had to think fast. I blurted out the word 'lonely.' Lonely Lisa.
My answer wasn't entirely correct. I really wasn't that lonely, I mean sometimes, sure. Loneliness comes with the territory, when one is an only child. Now that I'm older, I would say Left-handed Lisa describes me more accurately. If the Lord took part in the game, it would be easy come up with positive L-words to describe Him, such as loving, loyal, leader, and listener. Scripture supports these facts.
Oh, how we can depend on the Lord's loving kindness. We never have to limit God's good qualities!
How would you respond to this type of icebreaker?
