Revelation 22

Rev 20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

In the book of the Revelation to John we find many amazing things. Some are a correction to different churches. Some are pictures of the war that mankind will wage against Jesus as He returns. The next to last verse in the last chapter of the book gives us hope. While we may ask that there would be given time for friends and family members to come to know the Salvation made available in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, there will come a day when that time expires.

We are told that no man knows the hour or the day of the Lord's return. (Matthew 24:36)

The Lord Himself tells us that He is coming. Quickly in God's time might be a little hard for us to know. But there is a day when the Father will turn to the Son and tell Him to go and get His children.Until that day we look for opportunities to tell someone struggling, someone searching for answers, there is a God that loves them. There is forgiveness for anything they've done. There is hope beyond their needs.

Lord Jesus - Please pour out Your grace and mercy to this world that needs You so badly. Open our eyes to moments when someone might cross our path because You sent them with questions, or difficulties. Prepare us to be your hands, feet and voice. Amen.

Grace & Peace,
Mike
