Letters to a Young Church ~ The Holy Believer: Conclusion

- - - - - - -

We have seen that we are called to be “the holy believer.” Our lives are to be separated unto God for His purposes. The focus of our lives is to establish our priorities in a way that honor God - to be godly husbands, wives, parents, employees, and citizens. Just as Paul called Timothy a coworker with God, so are we. We are blessed by being called to a position of service with God. May we live in that way.

“The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies–in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen” (1 Peter 4:7–11).

“Finally, brothers, rejoice.
Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace;
and the God of love and peace will be with you. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ
and the love of God
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit
be with you all.”
2 Corinthians 13:11, 14 ESV
