2016-09-19 - Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda
God wants us to come to Him for the answers. ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ (Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV)
When we look to God’s ability, and not our own logic or family's and friends’ opinions, the Lord will equip us through His strength and ability. He doesn’t leave or forsake us. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). When our strength is gone, we can seek His face and trust Him.
God does not intend for us to suffer. He wants to carry our burdens. When we take our focus off our problems, and put it onto the ultimate problem solver, life will get easier. May we come to God sooner than later.
Father, Direct my steps, I pray, not just today but every day. I'll try not to focus on myself or circumstances but on You and Your abilities. Amen.
