2015-09-21 - What Would Habakkuk Say?
I see God moving across the deserts from Mount Sinai. His brilliant splendor fills the earth and sky; his glory fills the heavens, and the earth is full of his praise! What a wonderful God he is! (Habakkuk 3:3 TLB)
I do not understand why bad things happen. I am overwhelmed by what I see. I converse with God and wait on Him to answer. But I am not comfortable with waiting. I am learning to be patient; I have no other choice.
I pray I will not grow weary, waiting for the Lord’s promises to appear in my life. Thankfully, God did not leave me stranded. I received my answers to prayer; according to His perfect will, He will save His people. Still, it will not be easy to see the destruction that awaits those determined to live on their own terms, opposing the Lord. I will need to have a strong faith and not to waver.
Lord, May I seek You, in an effort to grow in understanding. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
