2015-08-10 - What Would a Psalmist Say?
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91:1-2)
We have a Father who looks out for us. We find refuge in the Lord's presence. Our rest is found there. When we acknowledge the Lord's sovereignty, we receive His protection. God is near when trouble attacks. As our Father, the Lord guards us well.
Each night's sky is different. Some nights, the pink and purple hues are vibrant, while other times the sky is a sea of yellow. For me, knowing there will be a present in the sky each night, is reassuring. It's one of God's gifts that I am trying to not take lightly.
God, Thank You for being my Daddy and for not abandoning me. I love You. Amen
