Today, just as in the time of the Thessalonians, our faith is under attack. Christian beliefs are laughed at and criticized. In many places, Christians are not allowed to have public prayer or to meet for worship. We are urged to be "politically correct." Our moral values are under attack. How should we respond? Like the Thessalonians, we should stand firm in our beliefs. The Bible is God's book of knowledge given to us. of And God has sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in us and guide us. We should pray for strength to stand firm in our beliefs, knowing that we are not alone.
