2013-04-17 - What Would Esther Say?
And the king loved Esther more than all the women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight, more than all the maidens, so that he set the royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. (Esther 2:17)
Out of all the girls, King Xeres chose me. He has so many young and attractive women to pick from, and yet I stood out. All the king's workers are so gracious to me. While I waited to meet the king, I stayed in the palace, was pampered, given beauty treatments, and specialty foods. I did not lack for anything. It's still unimaginable that I will become Queen Esther. Bless God. None of this would have happened without my Lord.
My cousin Mordecai has been a huge support. After my parents died, Mordecai stepped in and raised me. I trust him completely, and since he serves the king, I get to see him every day. Glory to the Lord. I am living out a dream.
Lord, I praise and worship You. Thank You for being my fixer-upper. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
