Even on secular radio stations, many of us are hearing Christmas carols everywhere. Some are a little fanciful, but others are based on Scriptures. Today we will see some of the passages that relate to several of the songs of the season.
Mary, Did You Know?
Luke 1:28-29 (NASB) And coming in, he said to her, "Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.'' But she was very perplexed at this statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation this was.
Of the Father's Love Begotten:
John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Angels from The Realms of Glory:
Luke 2:13-14 (NASB) And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.''
Goin' to Bethlehem:

Once in Royal David's City:
