2007-08-21 - Whatever You Do

1 Corinthians 10:31b - whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

When you go to work, what is your motive? Do you go in hoping to impress the boss and get noticed for the next raise? Are you there just to collect a paycheck? Are you there to play politics and climb the ladder?

Perhaps you go to school. If so, what do you hope to do in class today? Do you want to be the center of attention? Do you want to be known as the smartest, funniest, most athletic for the sake of impressing others? Do you just want to get the day over so you can go home and play video games?

According to the verse above and many others, the reason we do anything and everything should be to bring God glory. Take a minute to think of all you have planned or not planned to do today. How will you bring God glory in it?
