2006-07-29 - Destiny
Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, my Friends,
Last week, we learned that according to one of God's days, it will only be
twenty minutes or a blink of an eye to God when you die, and you enter either
Heaven or Hell. Then I asked a couple of questions.
Which is your destiny? Is it Heaven or Hell, or are you not sure? If you
are not sure what you destiny is, would you like to know for sure that you
are going to go to Heaven? Let's start out by asking the following question.
In my present condition, am I prepared for Heaven?
The Bible says:
All have sinned, and come short of the glory of
God. Romans 3:23 KJV
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned
every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us
all. Isaiah 53:6 KJV
If I am a sinner, where am I going?
The Bible says:
...the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life through Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 KJV
And whosoever was not found written in the book
of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15 KJV
What has God done to provide the way to Heaven for me?
The Bible says:
God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while
we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 KJV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. John 3:16 KJV
What must I do to get to Heaven?
The Bible says:
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
KJV
He came unto his own, and his own received him
not. But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the
sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. John 1:11-12 KJV
So if it is your decision to receive Christ, you should make a confession
in prayer to God as follows: "God I am a sinner, and I believe that the Lord
Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross and was raised for my justification.
I do now receive and confess Him as my personal Savior."
How do I know I am on my way to Heaven?
The Bible Says:
Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that heareth
my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall
not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John
5:24 KJV
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace
with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1 KJV
Peace and blessings in Christ, my Friends.
