Prayer, Part 5

Have you ever faced an impossible situation? Jesus did. Read what He asked God during the hardest times in His human life, facing pain, unjust shame, and death:

He went forward a little, and fell face downward on the ground, and prayed, ´My Father! If it is possible, let this cup be taken away from me. But I want your will, not mine." (Mathew 26:39 TLB)

When Jesus Prayed:

• It was honest.
• He put His needs aside.

Father, If it is possible, please don't make me do what's in front of me. But I want Your will and not mine. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
