You may have seen or read the John 3:16 scripture before. I am so glad that the scripture is not a sweepstakes or game I have to enter. I don't have to scratch any game pieces, type in any codes online, or mail in any proofs of purchase. I don't have to worry about the small print or an expiration date. I don't have to be leery of this deal being too good to be true.

God loved the people of the world so much that He gave up His one and only Son. Every person who commits himself to Jesus will not be destroyed. Instead that person will have eternal life. John 3:16 (Living Bible)

I admit it is a little scary, giving control of your life to the Creator of the universe. God wants the best for us, even better than what we think is best! Why wouldn't we want better than the best?

He gives us grace and glory. No good thing will he withhold from those who walk along his paths. Psalm 84:11 (Living Bible)

Lord, I know that You are real. I want to make a clean slate and trust You with my life. I confess that I haven't always lived like I should. Please forgive me and help me live a better life. Thank You, God. I know and expect that an amazing life awaits me with You behind the wheel. In Jesus'name, I pray. Amen.
