My prayer on this day is for us to take time to just delight in the Lord and His word. Here are some verses on delight from the New King James Version that I pray help you find some delight today and rejoice in our Lord.

DELIGHT IN - SUNE-DOMAI (sunhvdomai, (4913), (4913)), lit., to rejoice with (anyone), to delight in (a thing) with (others), signifies to delight with oneself inwardly in a thing. Vine, W. E., Vine's Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words, (Grand Rapids, MI: Fleming H. Revell) 1981.

Job 22:26 For then you will have your delight in the Almighty, and lift up your face to God.

Job 33:26 He shall pray to God, and He will delight in him. He shall see His face with joy, for He restores to man His righteousness.

Psalms 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.

Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Psalms 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalms 40:8 I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart.
