1 Sam. 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider
his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not
look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but
the LORD looks at the heart." (NIV)
Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free,
male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (NIV)
James 2:1 My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord
Jesus Christ, don't show favoritism. 2 Suppose a man comes into
your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby
clothes also comes in. 3 If you show special attention to the
man wearing fine clothes and say, "Here's a good seat for you," but say to
the poor man, "You stand there" or "Sit on the floor by my feet,"
4 have you not discriminated among yourselves and become
judges with evil thoughts? 5 Listen, my dear brothers: Has
not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in
faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? (NIV)
Eph. 2:14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the
two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,
15 by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and
regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the
two, thus making peace, 16 and in this one body to reconcile both
of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
(NIV)
Lev. 19:4 Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block
in front of the blind, but fear your God. I am the LORD. (NIV)
Lev. 19:32 Before the hoary head thou shalt rise up, and
shalt honour the face of an old man; and thou shalt fear thy God: I am Jehovah.
