2000-03-08 - Verses on God’s Love

God gave us the Bible to speak to us. Today, I pray you will join me in simply meditating on His word and absorbing His neverending love for us. All verses are from The New Living Bible.

Job 10:12 You gave me life and showed me your unfailing love. My life was preserved by your care.

Psalm 33:18 But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.

Psalm 63:3 Your unfailing love is better to me than life itself; how I praise you!

Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains may depart and the hills disappear, but even then I will remain loyal to you. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

Ephesians 1:4 Long ago, even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

1 John 3:1 See how very much our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children, and we really are!

Ephesians 5:1 Follow God’s example in everything you do, because you are his dear children. ² Live a life filled with love for others, following the example of Christ, who loved you and gave himself as a sacrifice to take away your sins. And God was pleased, because that sacrifice was like sweet perfume to him.

Father- It feels so good to be loved by You. It feels so good to read about Your love for us. It feels so good just to baste in Your love today. We praise you and thank you for loving us without conditions. Forgive us when we forget that You love us so dearly. We thank You for the greatest act of love, Your Son Jesus. In His name. Amen.
