[e-Devotionals] Devotional - 97-11-16 - Strength

Feels a little strange sitting up typing again. I want to thank Jan (RIJAN) for diligently keeping you all up to date on the progression of my recent back surgery. {{{{{{{{{{Jan}}}}}}}}} Thanks for all your prayers, I can assure you they were heart-felt. I had such an awesome sense of peace in the waiting room, walking into the pre-op room and then being rolled into the operating room. A peace and strength I have never felt before. A peace and strength that only comes from our Awesome God.

The Bible is chock full of verses concerning strength. The overriding theme is that strength from God is all-powerful, all-encompassing and eternal. Strength from man alone will not last, although don't forget, God sometimes uses men to deliver His strength.

All verses today are from The New Century Version, (Dallas, Texas: Word Publishing) 1987, 1988, 1991.
